Cody Matlock Band

A chance encounter with Jonny Lang when he was just 12 years old, took Cody Matlock from a kid with a passion for guitar and put him on a path to develop his distinctive style.

The blues guitarist/soul singer-songwriter began taking Georgia's storied music scene by storm as an up-and-comer and regular performer at Atlanta's top blues clubs (Northside Tavern, Blind Willies, Darwin's). 2018 has been a busy year for Cody with performances at Infinite Energy Center (Georgia Swarm Professional Lacrosse), main stage appearances at music festivals (Summerfest, Oysterfest, Georgia World Congress Center's Fourth of July celebration), and opening for Layla Hathaway. His debut EP, "Cody Matlock: Live at Eddies Attic", is now out on streaming platforms with physical copies being released at his album release party at Aisle 5 on Sept 22.

His current band lineup consists of GRAMMY Award-winning keyboardist Michael Westbrooks (Ray Charles, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown), drummer Daniel Harper (Little G. Weevil, Michael Ziab), bassist Brandon Boone (Col. Bruce Hampton, Grut), and percussionist Tony Erice (Taste).

A song means many things to Tyler Neal. It's a way to connect with the things and people that mean the most to him, a chance to exist in another world for a little while (be it another room or another planet), a journey inward to find his authentic self, and a journey outward to offer it to whoever might be receptive. He's reaching out to others through music in the way Stevie Wonder, Derek Trucks, and John Coltrane have reached out to him. The Atlanta-based singer, songwriter and guitarist is coming off a two year stint in the last band Colonel Bruce Hampton ever led, and is now building his career, musical ethos, and first solo record around what he learned during that time: The ego is a lie, the moment is the truth, the true Tyler is the goal, and music is the way.
