El Centro de la Raza's La Cocina Shrimp and Vegan Ceviche Making Class!

La Cocina School at El Centro de la Raza will be offering a Shrimp and Vegan Ceviche Cooking Class in partnership with Shark Bite Ceviches! Now is your chance to learn how to make two different kinds of ceviche from expert Marcos Arellano! Self-made entrepreneur Marcos is one of Plaza Roberto Maestas food cart vendors. His ceviche is always made with the freshest ingredients creating a perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious final product. Beer and wine will be served during the ceviche tastings (limit two per person).
Class will begin promptly at 6:30 PM in the kitchen at El Centro de la Raza and will run until around 8:30. All cooking supplies and ingredients will be provided, but please bring your own apron. On occasion, La Cocina classes are held in the Centilia Cultural Center's kitchen to accommodate larger groups. The Centilia Cultural Center is located within Plaza Roberto Maestas at 1660 South Roberto Maestas Festival Street, Seattle, WA 98144, next to the Light Rail station.

Tickets for this class will be $70 each and the proceeds from the La Cocina School at El Centro de la Raza Latin Cooking Classes go to fund El Centro de la Raza's Senior Wellness programs. As such, we are unable to process any refunds. In the event that you are unable to attend, we are happy to place you into a different class or you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.
