The A1A Marathon and Half Marathon is a 26.2-mile (42 km) course that attracts around 4,000 runners from more than 40 states and 12 foreign countries. It starts on Las Olas Boulevard and swings along the beach north to Pompano Beach and then back to the finish line at South Beach Park.
