El Sonar is a cutting edge electronic music festival held every year since 1994. Divided into "Sonar by Day" at Fira de Montjuic and "Sonar by Night" at Fira Gran Via de L'Hospitalet, it is formally called the International Festival of Advanced Music and Congress of Technology and Creativity.
