A dream always dreamt, to organize the first ELLA event in a Central American country.
Many lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women around the world still do not feel fully at ease or empowered to assert their sexual or gender identity, and in many places face severe discrimination and inequality with regards to their human and civil rights.
This is why we are launching a project in Costa Rica - to celebrate and promote the empowerment of lesbian, bisexual and transgender women and raise awareness on their identity, challenges, and aspirations, on top of offering you an amazing trip in this wild and amazingly beautiful country!
Costa Rica is a small and tropical country in Central America with almost five million inhabitants. Of course this figure does not include its diverse and extensive wildlife, which counts countless of unique creatures and species that are not to be found anywhere else in the world.
We will also host the ELLA International Festival in Costa Rica from 8 - 22 May and will be inaugurated by the first ELLA Talks Costa Rica - Inspiring International Lesbian Conference in San José, Costa Rica on 8 May 2019.
The conference will be followed by a 7 or 15 days trip (depending on the package you choose) to discover a wild but safe country that will transform you deeply.

Un sueño siempre soñado, organizar el primer evento ELLA en un país centroamericano.
Muchas mujeres lesbianas, bisexuales y transexuales de todo el mundo todavía no se sienten cómodas ni tienen el poder de afirmar su identidad sexual o de género, y en muchos lugares se enfrentan a una grave discriminación y desigualdad con respecto a sus derechos humanos y civiles.
Es por eso que estamos lanzando un proyecto en Costa Rica para celebrar y promover el empoderamiento de las mujeres lesbianas, bisexuales y transgénero, y crear conciencia sobre su identidad, desafíos y aspiraciones además de ofrecerte un viaje increíble en este mundo salvaje y sorprendente. ¡Hermoso país!
Costa Rica es pequeño y tropical en América Central con casi cinco millones de habitantes. Por supuesto, esta cifra no incluye su fauna diversa y extensa, que cuenta con un sinnúmero de criaturas únicas y especies que no se encuentran en ningún otro lugar del mundo.
También organizaremos el Festival Internacional ELLA en Costa Rica del 8 al 22 de mayo y será inaugurado por la primera Conferencia Internacional de Lesbianas Inspiradoras - ELLA Talks Costa Rica - en San José, Costa Rica, el 8 de mayo de 2019.
A la conferencia le seguirá un viaje de 7 o 15 días (dependiendo del paquete que elijas) para descubrir un país salvaje pero seguro que te transformará profundamente.
