LA Pride was the world's first gay pride parade, launched in 1970 one year after the Stonewall Riots. LA Pride Music Festival and Parade today attracts about 40,000, making it the largest celebration of its kind in the United States and the largest ticketed music festival in the city.

Christopher Street West (CSW) produces the annual Los Angeles LGBTQ LA PRIDE Music Festival & Parade in West Hollywood.

A 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, CSW is a leading partner in the advancement of human rights, education, outreach and equality for the LGBTQ community.

Founded in response to the Stonewall Rebellion on Christopher Street in New York on June 28, 1969, Christopher Street West conducted the first parade in the world advocating for gay rights in June of 1970 in Hollywood, CA.
