The London International Mime Festival (LIMF) promotes and celebrates contemporary visual theatre. Its directors are Joseph Seelig and Helen Lannaghan.
LIMF was established in 1977 by Joseph Seelig at the instigation of Nola Rae MBE and is the longest running event of its kind in the world.ver four decades the Festival has presented many of the most distinguished names in visual theatre: Jacques Lecoq, Philippe Genty, Lindsay Kemp, Jérôme Deschamps, Marcel Marceau and his company, as well as a new generation of performers including La Ribot, Aurélien Bory's Compagnie 111, Josef Nadj, Licedei, Complicité, Phelim McDermot and Improbable.
