About DJ M. Forde
Coming straight out of Brooklyn the land of Biggie and Jay-z. A multi-talented MC, choreographer, world traveler, stylist, luxury men's wear designer and most of all a Afro- house, house and classics Dj. Dj M. Forde was mentored by the legendary NY DJ's Little Louie Vega of Masters at Work, Timmy Regisford and Carlos Sanchez. He started out dancing and choreographing for many artist and dance theaters in the underground dance seen in NY in the 90's where he met Erik Morello (I like to move it move it) who introduced him to Louie Vega. M.Forde made his debut as a guest at the Limelight. He has also played Tokyo's Club Yellow and made mixtapes with Chicago's DJ Mark Grant. He's worked with many party planners in NY like Colin Cowie and David Starks. Sponsored by Italian sound company FBT, he has a residency at Lola's in Martha's Vineyard and is the newest addition to the Soul Summit dance festival in Brooklyn which he is bringing to MV this summer. Fashion is also his passion as a designer/stylist of his own label M. Forde Designs. He's been featured on the Apprentice, ESPN, rated Esquires best dressed man in America, l'uomo Vogue magazine and the Today Show.
