Out in the Tropics, a LGBT-Q performing arts festival which began nearly a decade ago, is the area's only festival that explore LGBT-Q issues through music, dance, theater, poetry and film as created by LGBT-Q artists. Generally held in May or early June at various venues on Miami Beach.
