Paris Cocktail Week (winter)

More than 50 well-known and off-the-beaten-track bars create signature cocktails for the event, which includes seminars on food pairing and bartenders' secrets. Lore has it that the Bloody Mary was created in Paris at the request of Ernest Hemingway, who didn't want his wife smelling liquor on his breath. A free pass, available online, gives rebates on drinks.
