Established in 1999, the Cape Town Holocaust Center was the first of three such centers in the country, the others in Johannesburg and Durban. The museum recalls the history of the holocaust and puts it in a South African context by telling the stories of holocaust survivors in Cape Town. Check its website for special speakers, films and other events. Admission is free.
