Giant pandas are the big draw at the 200-acre (81 ha) Beijing Zoo where the Panda House (extra fee) is shaped like a Tai Chi diagram and landscaped like a traditional Chinese garden. The zoo also boasts other exotic animals like Siberian tiger and the Snow Leopard, the Beijing Aquarium (the largest in inland China) and 14 acres (5.6 ha) of lakes and ponds. Close to the zoo's north gate and worth a visit is the 15th century Temple of the Five Pagodas (Zhenjue Temple) and the Art Museum of Stone Carving with 2,000 stelae.
