Wangfujing Shopping Street is pedestrian-only with almost 300 shops, many major brand. The hutongs (alleys) just west of the street are full of street food stalls and restaurants. At the northern end of the street is the Donghuamen Night Market, the city's number one snack street, where food stalls post their menus in both Mandarin and English.
