Old-fashioned junks, sampans and house boats of the sea-faring Tanka people make up photo-op Aberdeen Village which floats in the harbor where the first foreigners arrived. Old Tanka women in traditional dress will be glad to give you a spin around the harbor in a sampan - for a fee. Also around the harbor: the Aberdeen fish market and the giant floating restaurant palaces.
