The Cheung Sha beach, divided into upper and lower, is one of several inviting seaside destinations along the southern coast of Landau Island. With shark-netting and April - October lifeguards, it boasts the longest stretch of sand around. At Lower Beach, you'll find The Stoep, a South African restaurant, a Thai-Chinese restaurant where most ingredients ground in garden and Long Coast Seaports, which rents waterspout equipment, rooms and camping facilities. Go a bit farther to explore Tong Fuk, stretch of wild sand.
Lower Cheung Sha Beach, Lantau Island, Hong Kong

Lower Cheung Sha beach on Lantau Island has some nice casual cafes and restaurants to enjoy a lovely beach-side alfresco meal. The long stretch of beach between Lower and Upper Cheung Sha beach is becoming popular with (mostly male) gay visitors who wish to tan au naturel - as long as it is done discreetly, of course!

Love this little beach. Great to hang out during the day. Good restaurants. I especially love Long Island restaurant. A chilled glass of wine on the beach as the sun goes down is beautiful.

In the upper beach, some gay people like to meet near the river, may be you can meet a good lover there.
