Because of its hotels, restaurants and shops, Nathan Road is known as the "Golden Mile" although it stretches twice that distance through Kowloon to Boundary Road. The most famous hotel on Nathan Road is The Peninsula, the only hotel in town with its own heliport and a favorite spot for afternoon tea. Lots of shopping can be done along the broad thoroughfare - it's particularly known for electronics - but you'll also pass by Kowloon Park, the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Center, the Kowloon Mosque and Reclamation Street which leads off to the Jade Market.
