The Symphony of Lights is a sound-and-light show organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board at 8 pm nightly that can best be enjoyed from the water. The regular Star Ferry transit around that time pauses to take in the display. The show itself takes only about 15 minutes, but you can enjoy a glittering 90-minute harbor cruise with open bar on a Chinese junk if you book a Symphony of Lights Cruise. Not a bad way to start the evening. Board at either Central Pier 9 or Kowloon Public Pier 3.
