From Kedumim Square on the waterfront you can see a number of large boulders cresting the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Named by Greek mythology as the spot where the people of Jaffa sacrificed Andromeda to Poseidon, god of the sea, there's no statue or marker, but it's a popular place for tourists to take a photo.

The story told by Homer of Princess Andromeda being tied to the rocks as an offering for Cetus. Perseus swoops in with the head of Medusa and kills the sea monster saving Andromeda. If this sounds all Clash of the Titans it's because it is. Release the Kraken!
