Located near many good stores and restaurants, Rabin Square - with its touching monument to the assassinated Prime Minister - is a must-see stop for any downtown Tel Aviv tour. Designed in 1964 by architects Avraham Yaski and Shimon Povzner, this significant public space often plays host to public concerts and political rallies. There are plenty of shaded seating areas and open space for kids to run around after lunch nearby.
