Formerly a Phillipe Starck property, the six-story Generator Hostel is now a stylish budget accommodation with lots of quirky extras. From free Monday night yoga classes to boules games in the Petanque bar, there's plenty to do inside the hostel itself, and the rooms - which range in size from private to dormitory-style - are generally large and clean. There's no kitchen on the premises, but the location is convenient to a number of affordable restaurants and a metro station.
