Though at first glance it may seem like a sterile choice of accommodation, the Hilton Copenhagen Airport Hotel offers large, affordable rooms and easy access to the parks, beaches, and hiking trails of Amager. Downtown Copenhagen is a 12-minute metro ride, with the airport just one stop away, and the hotel has a spa and fitness center that receive high marks. Upper-floor rooms have sea views, and there's a nice, if small, pool adjacent to the property. It's probably not ideal for a tourist planning to hit every cultural landmark, but for the outdoorsy types it's a nice option.
