The Jazzhouse is Copenhagen's premier jazz venue, and the fact that it's subsidized by the government allows the management to book big names and keep ticket prices low. The concert hall has been recently refurbished with a state-of-the-art sound system, and there are over 200 concerts per year keeping audience attendance strong. After-hours a large dance club opens up in the downstairs area. Ticket prices vary, and cover to the club is around 60 DKK.
