One of the major attractions in the neighborhood of Frederiksberg, Copenhagen Zoo has more than 2500 animals including polar bears, tigers, hippos and a pride of lions. Fittingly for design-obsessed Danes, the elephant enclosure was designed by Norman Foster, and is considered one of the finest in the world, with a pool large enough to allow the elephants to submerge their entire bodies. The children's zoo has a nice petting section, as well as several trained horse shows. Admission is 95 DKK for children, 160 DKK for adults.
