The Danish Jewish Museum was designed by Daniel Libeskind, the same architect behind Berlin's Jewish Museum and the Ground Zero development in New York. The architecture is the real star here, with a floor plan in the shape of the Hebrew characters for the word mitzvah - or compassion - and asymmetrical walls meant to create a feeling of uncertainty and instability. Don't miss the two short films covering the Jews' migration to Denmark, and the creative process of Libeskind. Admission is 50 DKK.
