Strædet

Nyhavn

Straedet, or "The Alley," is a popular shopping street near the western end of the City Hall in Old Town Copenhagen. The stores sell mostly antiques and art, and while the wares are less flashy than those on offer on nearby Stroget, they make up for it in sheer quirk factor. This is where you come to buy unusual vintage jewelry, browse dusty bookshelves, and pick up a one-of-a-kind art piece, before settling into one of the many cosy cafes.
