Opened to the public in 2014, the Ministry of Culture chose a formerly vacant 400-year-old brewery complex to house an enormous collection of historic Danish statues which had begun to deteriorate in the open air. There are over 300 statues and sculptures inside the red-brick buildings, gathered from royal palaces, gardens, and squares all over the city. It makes for an impressive visual impact and illustrates the progression of Danish sculpture over several centuries. Admission is 50 DKK.
