The Latin Quarter is one of the liveliest neighborhoods in Copenhagen - in part because of its proximity to the university - and is home to several of the best tourist sights. Just north of the Stroget, it's a warren of narrow cobblestone streets worth spending an afternoon exploring. There are numerous shops and cafes, and plenty of sunlit public squares, making it one of the most photogenic areas in town. There are guided tours you can take for some historical background, and pub crawls that take advantage of the many student bars, but it's just as nice to take your time and figure it out on your own.
