Inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen story of the same name, The Little Mermaid sits on a rock in the Inner Harbor looking out to sea, where she's visited by throngs of tourists eager to get a picture. Made by sculptor Edvard Eriksen in 1913, she is one of the city's most popular symbols, and you'll see her silhouette on menus, t-shirts, coffee mugs and posters everywhere.

The Union

The Union is a speakeasy, meaning you may have to spend a little time on the street searching for it, but once you find the unmarked black door with the gold doorbell, you'll know you're in the right place....
