Kensington Palace has been home to the British Royals since the 17th century. One of the best known occupants in recent years was Princess Diana, who took up residence in the palace with Prince Charles after their wedding and remained after their divorce until her death. Since 2013, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (William and Kate) live in a 20-room apartment, which took 18 months and U$7.6 million to renovate. Prince Harry also keeps a one-bedroom at the palace. The surrounding gardens and State Apartments are open to the public. On selected Wednesdays and Saturdays, Tiny Explorers is a multi-sensory workshop for children up to 4 years old.
