Famous for its flower and produce markets, Cours Saleya has been designated as one of the nation's most special markets by the French National Council for the Culinary Arts. On Mondays these markets are replaced by the marché à la brocante (antiques/flea market). Between June 1 and Sept. 30, there's an arts and crafts market every evening until midnight. Historical footnote: The world's first wholesale cut-flower market opened here in 1897.
