Named after the French artist whose "Horse Fair" is prominently displayed in the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Rosa Bonheur is a "guinguette," a place to drink, eat and dance. Tucked away in 19th century open-air dance hall in Butes Chaumont Park, it is an escape from the city by day and on Sundays into the evening a gathering place for the LGBTQ crowd. Michelle Cassaro, one of the owners, previously ran Pulp, a Lesbian bar that closed in 2007.
