The definition of an Alsatian-style brasserie, Bofinger has been serving up sauerkraut, French onion soup, steak tartare and shellfish since the mid-19th century and supposedly was the first brasserie in Paris to introduce draft beer. A bit touristy, it is often crowded, making reservations advisable. On a practical note, it is open on Sundays when restaurants are hard to find in Paris.
