An extremely well-conceived free outdoor museum along the longest stretch of wall still standing in the city, where the traveler can learn about the history of two repressive regimes: the National Socialists and the DDR. It is one of the more concise and thorough explanations of Germany's discontents after the First World War. The exhibit is accompanied by an equally impressive documentation center of the forced labor in the concentration camps.
