Any crucifix- and liturgical-relic-geek should pay this museum a visit, one of Cologne's oldest churches filled to the brim with medieval Christian art. The Catholic priest Schnütgen, whose private collection makes up the bulk of what one sees here, was known as a "zealous and sometimes crafty" tactician in pursuit of artifacts for his catalog.
