An important monument to the gays and lesbians who were murdered under Hitler's Third Reich, on the shore of the Rhine directly beside the Hohenzollerbrücke. The inscription on the low-profile sculpture translates roughly to "Struck dead, Kept quiet," and the shape of the rose granite references the pink, upside-down triangle used to identify homosexuals in the concentration camps.
