It may not be on Munich's must-see list like the Augustinerkeller or Hofbräuhaus, but this small micro (the name translates to "research brewery")  in the less-traveled Perlach district has all the more charm because of it. In business for the last 80 years, beer geeks will lose their lederhosen over its brewed-on-site rarities, such as the Blonder Bock and the Pilsissismus.
