All German cities have their weekly pop-up food markets, but the Münchners are lucky enough to have not only the greatest of them all but to have it every day. The 240,000 square-foot Viktualienmarkt is a true smorgasbord and has been going strong since the early 19th century. After strolling through the colorful stands, grab some wurst with extra spicy mustard, and wash it all down with a weissbier piqued with lemon.
