A cheerful taverna run by gregarious local Kosta - who waits on every table himself - Blue Sardine is a must for lovers of ouzo and traditional Greek cuisine. The bar serves the largest collection of ouzo in the village, including many that connoisseurs may not be familiar with, and small plates of smoked mackerel, marinated anchovies, and grilled octopus are the perfect accompaniment. Be sure to order a bowl of olives, which Kosta harvests from his own trees, and don't miss the Greek salad here, rumored to be the best on the island.
