Just 26 kilometers from Skala Eressos, Sigri is one of the most remote villages on the island and has a certain rustic charm that complements a nice day out. There is a small fishing harbor with an excellent restaurant, a sheltered beach and a 17th-century Turkish castle for exploring. The village is built on a small peninsula, so the sea and sky views here are outstanding, a favorite with photographers.
