Tsichlionta Beach is usually empty, and has a number of natural features that make it popular with local wildlife like storks, turtles, frogs, and goats. It's a lovely place to spend an afternoon with your camera or fishing pole, and the landscape is varied, including a river delta, swamp grasses and rock formations. There is no infrastructure here, so be sure to bring water and sunblock, and pick up all your garbage. It's only about a half hour drive from Skala Eressos, but ask for directions as the approach can be tricky in a car.
