Hop House, formerly the Shakespeare, could be mistaken for a traditional Irish pub except that it is connected to a Korean-Japanese restaurant. Located in on Parnell Street in Dublin's Chinatown, the bar is odd and laid back enough to attract a colorful spectrum of faithful locals, students and politicos, attracted by the affordable pints coupled with something off the extensive menu next door, say edamame, bulgogi, bibimbap, sushi or a side dish of hot chicken wings.
