Rome is the Eternal city It's history and It's culture cannot be rivaled and if you haven't seen it you must go
If you do plan a trip try to go out of the main tourist season because it can get crowded around the tourist sites
also do not expect a very noticeable LGBT presence Although it's better than it was there is still the annoying habit of clubs being behind closed doors

Beautiful city, with so much history and that's the highlight of this city. People are friendly, food is great.

The Roman Forum, The Ruined Colosseum, Museums everywhere, food, FOOD, life in each of its streets, in the eyes of its inhabitants, its artists. Tradition and religion, The Vatican, The Sistine Chapel, the hubbub of Roman squares and the beauty of its creators, beautiful young people everywhere. The roofs of red tiles, their fashion, their language, sound, known, Rome Fellini and Mastroianni, Sophia and Rafaella, Leonardo and Michelangelo. Rome.

Although the people, Art and Architecture are truly mind-blowing I can honestly say I am just there for the food.
