Getting lost in the little enchanted canals was my most intriguing experience in this city.
Has beautiful views, especially on a summer's day.

I experienced Venice in August. It was quite warm and very very busy. Between finding my way through the alleys and dodging the other visitors to the city, I found the pace of my short break there a bit of a tail-spin. There is so much to see and experience, but ensure you wear comfy shoes and be prepared to pay a premium for just about everything.

It's like a jewel box. I didn't venture into any gay bars or clubs but had a great time exploring this city. Hotel rooms are tiny here. Luckily I hooked up with a friend who took me to the right restaurants which are more local-oriented.
