Beach 19 (Praia 19) is the gay and nude stretch of beach along Costa da Caparica, 19 miles (30 km) south of Lisbon. Part of a nature reserve and surrounded by dunes and vegetation, it makes for great sunbathing, cruising and swimming (but not when the flag is yellow or red.) The closest parking lot and restaurants are just north at Beach 17, and to the south is the fishing village of Fonte da Telha. Guys may want to check the bushes behind the railway track.
