Officially La Monroe is the bar at the Filmoteca de Catalunya, but evenings its plaça-side terrace is filled with more than fans of art cinema. Location, atmosphere and drinks draw a mixed crowd, but so does the food. Behind the bar is a dining area with wooden tables and a cobblestone floor. The affordable menu features tapas and salads with more substantial dishes like calamari stew in the evening.
