Montjuïc Hill is one-stop shopping for museums, cultural attractions and athletic activities. Site of the 1929 International Exhibition and the 1992 Olympic Games, the once fortified hill has dramatic views of the harbor 185 meters (some 600 feet) below. Here you will find the Fundació Miró , the Museu d'Arqueologia, the Museu Etnològic and the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya-MNAC. Temporary art exhibitions are mounted at CaixaForum, cultural center in a landmark modernist structure designed by Puig i Cadafalch. Also in the neighborhood are the Magic Fountain, Poble Espanyol, the Botanical Gardens, a rock-climbing complex and the Olympic Stadium and the Palau Sant Jordi, a sports complex for cultural and sporting events . A private walking tour for gays and a bicycling tour can be arranged.
