Santa Maria of the Pine, as it translates from Catalan, is a 14th century Gothic church known for its rose window (one of the world's largest) and its board nave, almost 17 meters (56 ft.) wide and supported by large buttresses instead of pillars. Much of the decoration was lost or destroyed in the Civil War. The Maestros de la Guitarra present classical guitar concerts in the church.
