Café del Mar is an Ibiza classic, serving up sunsets, creative cocktails and chill out music since it opened in 1980 in Sant Antoni de Portmany. It remains one of the island's main destinations despite the arrival of other sunset bars along the strip, attracting crowds to its decks and shorefront every evening as the sun goes down. It is also well-known for its record label of the same name, which has released the café's own brand of balearic ambient, easy listening music since the late 1980s.
