The Mari Mayans distillery was founded in 1880 by Juan Mari Mayans, a herbalist well known for his distilling expertise. He created his own 100% natural absinthe, which remains a hit in Ibiza's best clubs and restaurants and across the rest of Europe, even when it was banned from many countries around the world.
