Playa del Inglés, a haven for hippies and nudists since the 1970s, is a dune beach under a sheer cliff only a short walk from the cafes and bars of the port town of Vueltas. The waves can be wild, but the beach attracts a mixed bag of sun-lovers, including families, and has incredible sunsets.
